Playing Catch-Up

Hi Again! I hope these letters find you well! After four years away from this blog, I have a bit of catching up to do. And while I can't share every bit of musical fun I've had since 2007, I can speak about a couple things.

The first one that comes to mind is a video I made last year with my friend Lola. It's dedicated to those among us who are living with cancer. I woke up with this song on my heart one morning and busted out my crayons to make a video a couple weeks later because of an awesome kid named Esther.

So it's been a little while. . ok, *more* than a little while. It's not that I haven't had things to share with you. It's that sharing them here kind of changes what they were. A musical performance is ephemeral and evanescent, not a set object but a site of inquiry. But this blog is a site of inquiry too, so I'm back, I'm here and I'm sharing.
